Swim Teams Have Great Season.

Congratulations to our Raptor swimmers who participated in the State Championship Swim Meets this past weekend. The Raptor Girls team came in 5th place overall with personal best swims in every event and top 10 finishes by Mia Matthews (’22), Paisley Hodges (’23), Sarah Burnette (’22), Maryn Tombs (’24), and the Girls 200 Medley Relay and Girls 400 Free Relay.
The Raptor Boys team came in 3rd place overall. Kyle Hertwig (’23) took home the GOLD in the 50 Free with a time of 22.10 (a new AMHS team record!) and silver in the 100 Free. Charles Olsen (’21) took home 3rd in the 100 Fly with a personal best time, Andrew Nichols was fifth in the 500-yard freestyle, and there were Top 10 finishes by Eric Beaver (’21), Jack Austin (’21), Sean Healy (’24), Andrew Nichols (’23), Caleb Anderson (’23), and the Boys 200 Medley Relay and Boys 400 Free Relay.
