Ranking Chick-Fil-A Sauces

The ultimate ranking of the sauces from one of the most popular food chains

Ranking+Chick-Fil-A+Sauces

I feel as though there is controversy over Chick-Fil-A sauces and which is the “best one.” I honestly think they are all at least decent, but I definitely have favorites. I am here to rank these sauces and give my opinions on each of the seven that they offer. So, without further ado, here is my ranking of the Chick-Fil-A sauces.

  1. Barbeque Sauce

In last place, I have barbeque sauce. I honestly just never get this and have never been with anyone who chooses this sauce over the others. The flavor is not terrible, but it is just simply not as good as the others on this list. I just have never had a time in my life where I craved barbeque sauce from Chick-Fil-A more than the others and they are stingy with their sauces and the amount you get so you always have to choose wisely.

  1. Sweet and Spicy Sriracha

For this one, I feel as though none of the meal options at Chick-Fil-A go very well with this sauce. I would just never choose to eat a chicken sandwich or nuggets with sweet and spicy sriracha sauce, but the flavor is slightly better than that of the barbeque sauce which is why it is ranked at sixth rather than seventh. I feel as though anyone who is obsessed with spicy sauces and flavors would be in love with this, but similarly to the barbeque sauce, I have never been with anyone who orders this sauce. It is good, but not great, and do not think it is the best they could do.

  1. Polynesian Sauce

I used to love Polynesian sauce. I would get it every time I went to Chick-Fil-A for the longest time, but one day I ate it and it just tasted terrible. I have hated it ever since then and have refused to ever try it again, but I give it the fifth spot because of the hold it had on me for a chunk of my life. There was something about that sweet taste that just added to the flavor of the fries that made me feel as though everything was going to be okay. I respect this sauce and the flavor it gives because it is like no other.

  1. Zesty Buffalo

This sauce is a classic. I do not know many who pick this sauce, but I occasionally get it and am never disappointed when I do. I think it is a great match with chicken and adds some tang to the chicken that is not elevated without a sauce. Although still a peculiar choice, I think it is a valid and classic one. You really cannot go wrong with this pick even though it is not a popular one.

  1. Honey Mustard

I am in love with honey mustard. It is amazing and I truly think it is a classic to have with chicken. It is such a staple and I think Chick-Fil-A’s is amazing. I chose this every once and awhile and am always happy when I do. I personally just do not like it as well as the other two ranked above this one, but it is still amazing. To me, honey mustard is kind of like Ketchup, it is just something that is a classic with chicken and fries which is why I have it ranked at third.

  1. Garden Herb Ranch

I am a ranch fan in and out. If there is one ranch fan in the world, it is me. I think it goes with everything. I even dip my pizza on it, so I know that most people would not rank it as high as this. I am self-aware of my obsession with ranch and how the majority would not like it as well as me. I get it every time I go to Chick-Fil-A and dip my fries and my sandwich in it. I am in love with ranch and it is my current sauce obsession similar to how I loved Polynesian sauce and I am worried I will just hate it one day.

  1. Chick-Fil-A Sauce

There just is not another option for the first spot. This sauce is superb. It is original, unique, delicious and it is absolutely amazing. Pretty much everyone gets this sauce when at Chick-Fil-A and I do not blame them. It is similar to the power of Cane’s Sauce because of its name-brand feeling and the feeling of it that you get when you go to Chick-Fil-A. It is ultimately part of the experience of going and a staple of their restaurant. I have nothing but good things to say about this sauce.

None of these sauces are bad and Chick-Fil-A is ultimately very good at creating a variety of sauces for people to choose from with a wide range of flavors. I think that these sauces encapture the joy of eating here and the power sauce can add to chicken and fries. Also, an honorable mention for ketchup because it never fails and honestly deserves a top spot always.
