Everything Coming to Netflix September 2019

With over 100 titles making their way onto Netflix this coming month, we must say goodbye to around 40 series and movies to make room. Some of these titles include Lilo & Stitch, A Nightmare on Elm Street and Something’s Gotta Give. While the loss of these is saddening, its replacements have the potential to be even better. Below are some featured titles and a calendar of the releases.

The Politician

Ryan Murphy, the genius screenwriter behind both Glee and American Horror Story, writes and executive directs this new dark comedy. The show follows Payton Hobart (Ben Platt), a wealthy California teen who desires to one day become the president of the United States. But before he is able to get there, Hobart must first win his High School’s student council election.

Between Two Ferns: The Movie

Comedian and expert actor Zach Galifinakis takes his hit talk show series to an even more uncomfortable and hilarious level with this improvised comedy debuting September 20th. It follows the host as he sets out on a road trip to restore his reputation as a ‘serious’ entertainer. The film stars many A-list celebrities, including Will Ferrel, Barack Obama and Cardi B.

Unbelievable

Based on a Pulitzer prize winning article, this series details the aftermath of the rape of a young girl who’s story isn’t taken seriously. But as similar cases are reported in nearby towns, two female detectives begin to track down the elusive criminal and are met with dead ends. Combining crime with drama and emotion, this show staring Merrit Wever and Toni Collette is sure to be greeted with much approval.
