With the warmer months ahead and a city buzzing with music lovers, comes the rush of excitement for the Spring and Summer Concerts here in Charleston, SC.  It’s a little known fact that our city has a great music scene, with venues of every type.  From the outdoor concert series at Riverfront Park, to the weekly concerts at the small, but intimate Pour House, there is music everywhere and for everyone here in the greater Charleston area.  Below is a list of artists and events you can look forward to in the coming months.  Stay tuned to hear more about what kind of concerts you can expect over your Summer Vacation.

The North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center (February-April)

The Pour House of Charleston (Spring): The Pour House has an artist lined up almost nightly.  Although many artists are local, their are also some bigger names that stop by every now and then.  Here is a link to their website if you’re interested in their lineups:

Venues in Columbia  There is also a wonderful music scene in Columbia, SC  for those willing to drive the hour and half out of Charleston’s city center.  Below are some venues with big names headlining their Spring calendar.

The Colonial Life Arena (February-May)

Music Festivals Near South Carolina (February-May) There are a few really great music festivals in the states outside of South Carolina for those willing to take a weekend road-trip.  These festivals are a great way for you to get to know music lovers from around the country and kick of the the start of the Spring and Summer season.


  • Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival (March 2-5): The Lineup includes Kings of Leon, The Lumineers, Flume, Wiz Khalifa, Young the Giant, Cold War Kids, Mac Demarco, Waka Flocka Flame, Joywave, and Rainbow Kitten Surprise.  Lineup here:
  • Gasparilla Music Festival (Tampa Fl. March 11-12):  The lineup includes big names like Cage the Elephant and Ryan Adams.  More artists are to be announced soon. Lineup here:
  • Runaway Country Music Festival (Kissimmee Fl. March 17-19): The lineup includes Brad Paisly, Tyler Farr and more!  Lineup here:
  • Miami Music Week (March 21-26): The lineup includes big names like David Guetta and Ice Cube.  The festival also showcases a large variety of EDM artists.  Lineup here:
  • Spring Jam (Panama City Beach Fl. March 28-29): The lineup includes Cheryl Crowe, Darius Rucker, and Colbie Caillat.  Lineup Here:
  • Tortuga Music Festival (Ft. Lauderdale Fl. April 7-9): The lineup includes Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Darius Rucker, and Delta Ray. Full lineup here:
