With the release of his 7th album, Call Me If You Get Lost, Tyler, the Creator was back on tour. In this album, Tyler Okonma, better known as Tyler, the Creator, takes on the persona of “Tyler Baudelaire” after French poet Charles Baudelaire. Many themes reflected in Baudelaire’s poetry are also reflected in the album, such as heartbreak, romance, and the desire for love.

Two weeks ago, my friends and I had the chance to go to the Charleston show and all I can say is wow. From the openers (Kali Uchis <3, Vince Staples, and Teezo Touchdown), to his stage presence, to the props, and the songs themselves, I really enjoyed the show.

I had the chance to talk to some of my fellow Raptors who also went and got their opinions on the show. Here is what they had to say:

“I have a bone to pick with Tyler. He cut She short and Kali didn’t bring him out for After the Storm and he didn’t bring her out for See You Again. I want a refund. Just kidding I love you.” – Taryn Crowley (12)

“Kali was amazing. She was beautiful. I loved her. She is my favorite person in the world.” – Inés Carillo (12)

“Absolutely lit” – Mikhael Douglass (12)

If you ever get the chance to go to one of Tyler’s concerts, I highly suggest you go!

For those of you who were unable to attend, here are some pictures!
