Friends. Americans.  Raptors.  Lend me your ears.  The game of the year is this Friday night, September 30.  Your Raptor football team will be taking on North Charleston for our homecoming game and it’s going to be legendary.  Everyone needs to be there to give our team the support and the love they deserve.  If you are not sure how to do this please read the Do’s and and Don’ts of the Bird Cage.  https://amhsnewspaper.com/10783/sports/dos-and-donts-of-the-bird-cage/Everyone needs to get hype and come in their best caveman garb to show support for our team.  The team is very excited for the homecoming game and is very positive that we will come away with the win.

Halfway through the season our record is 2-3 coming into our first region game against North Charleston. They have a record of 1-4 and are favored to win by 8 points. It should be a very exciting game with a lot of great plays.  Sophomore Steven Schlosser has had a great season so far and hopes to continue his incredible play to bring home our third straight homecoming win. The team is looking forward to everyone coming out to show their support, as they will need the crowd (specifically student section) to be louder than ever before.

We need everyone to be there.  I don’t care if you already have plans: you must cancel these plans and be at Danny Jones at 7:30 this Friday.  The seniors have a special surprise for the student section, but this will not be revealed unless you are there.  If you lack a form of transportation to get to the game, contact an upperclassman or post on the facebook page.  If necessary, walk to the game or get an Uber.  By no means should you skip the game.  Invite all friends and family to ensure that every spot on the bleacher is filled.

Let’s try to help our Raptor football team perform at the highest level that they can and win this game for the team, especially for the seniors.

TAKING THE SAT TEST SATURDAY MORNING IS NOT AN EXCUSE TO SKIP THE GAME!!!!
