Zuriel Nyamutsaka, Section Editor: News, Opinions, & Academics (Also the Goat)
What’s good y’all, my name is Zuriel Nyamutsaka. I’m excited to be writing for the Talon this year and covering different things like local news, movies, music, and just about anything else. I love Charleston rap, A$AP Rocky, Frank Sinatra, Star Wars, history, and politics. I love covering local politics and I’m super stoked to be covering the 2026 South Carolina elections, as well as all the student opinions surrounding them. Outside of Magnet you can catch me in Downtown Charleston waiting tables, co-running the Palmetto Boys State/Girls State alumni page, volunteering for different politicians, hanging out with my buddies, and running track.
