Dog of the Week: Extra Festive Edition
Welcome to Dog of the Week’s Extra Festive Edition. As we gear up for Christmas and do some last minute shopping for our puppers, it seems fitting that we celebrate the howliday season with the most festive of all doggos.
Meet Navidad, a polar pooch who is pupcited to share many smooches and snoogles this season. He loves spending these cold winter days wrapped pup in a foozy blanket with his favorite hooman and getting his shaggy fur snoozled. Usually the hooman drinks hot chocolate and Navidad sneakily slurps some when the hooman is distracted by the talking box.
During the howlidays, Navidad likes to stick to the four main food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corns and syrup. But of course he would never turn down a biscuit (preferably seasonal flavored).
His pawfect December day: first, we’ll make snow angels for two hours, and then we’ll go ice skating, and then we’ll eat a whole roll of Toll-House cookie dough as fast as we can, and then to finish, we’ll snuggle.
This year Navidad asked Santa for:
- a stuffed fren
- so many balls
- a new floofy bed
- annihilation of all squirrels
- a really big bone
Navidad wishes you a very merry Christmas, and because he’s cultured and a very goob boy, a happy Hanukkah, a joyful Kwanzaa, and a puptastic New Year.
