What’s up Raptor Nation, my name is Sam Galloway, and I’m excited to be writing for The Talon during my senior year at Magnet. I typically spend my free time playing electric guitar, going to the gym, listening to metal music or playing a Dark Souls game. For any other nerds reading this, I have all achievements on Elden Ring, Dark Souls 1/2/3, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. One thing I couldn’t live without are my airpods, because the ability to tune people out at will is incredible. I spent my summer visiting numerous national parks, of which I have a personal goal to visit as many as possible. As of now, I have been to Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and Great Smoky Mountains. My favorite movie is either Grown Ups or Ted, because comedies are my favorite movie genre. The subjects I will most likely be writing about are student life, arts, and entertainment.
