On Wednesday, April 20, Magnet students had the opportunity to continue the conversation about diversity through a work shop with AMHS alumni. The college students facilitated and open, free discussion about the meaning of racism in modern society, followed by an activity during which students were asked questions about their personal experiences and views on race.

The alumni included:

Kai Bauer, Class of ’14

Ayesha Sharma, Class of ’14

Kristi Dayemo, Class of ’14

Nijeeah Richardson, Class of ’12

Meggan Devoux, Class of ’10

This is only the first in a long series of discussions and open dialogue regarding the diversity issue at Magnet. We encourage all students to continue these conversations with open minds.
