Superbowl Predictions from the Class
We will start this off with my personal opinion. I think that the Seahawks will take it home. This is because they are simply the best team. They have one of the most reliable quarterbacks in Sam Darnold. If he could cut down on some of the turnovers, he could really emerge as the franchise qb that was drafted 3rd overall from USC. JSN is also a major reason for my selection. The soon-to-be OPOY has been proficient in almost everything. Racking up yards, receptions, and everything in between. Mike McDonal’s defense is a whole other conversation. He is a genius. Always drawing up new concepts that faze young and old quarterbacks alike. He uses South Carolina weapon Nick Eason as a pocket knife, slotting him anywhere to make an impact. Every player on this defense, which features Taquarius Wilson and Devon Witherspoon, has the capability to make electric plays.
Jaidon— it is not a surprise that adamant Patriots fans Jaidon Daley thinks the Patriots will take it home this year. He thinks that Drake Matthews’ accuracy and precision will carry them to an excellent offense, and Gonzalez will pick up the slack on defense. He is quoted saying, “ I just do not think any team can beat us. If we beat the Texans, we can beat any team, as long as Mayweather stays healthy and keeps slinging the pigskin.”
Bennett Bair- I think that the Rams are going to slaughter the Pats in the Super Bowl. Patriots fans have for far too long been getting their egos lifted by their “dynasty”. We all know that when Brady left, so did all the talent. They claim they have found something with their new franchise QB. We all know that in a couple of years’ time he will flop and they will suck once more. The Rams have the clear MVP in Matt Stafford. His expertise and veteran IQ have served him well time after time. I think Drake Maye could get himself a ring sometime, but not this year. It’ll be a classic SEC vs. ACC matchup at QB. And, how we all know, the SEC runs football and the former Georgia QB will mollywop the UNC fraud that is Drake Maye.
Charlie- He thinks that the Giants will win next year, but in the meantime, he thinks the 49ers might win it. The 49ers are powered by do-it-all superstar Christian McCaffrey, who is definitely one of the best running backs of the generation. They have been riddled with injuries but have managed to stay competitive through superstar coach Kyle Shanahan.
Sam.
Reed – The Seahawks will win the Super Bowl this year, strictly based on the defense. The Seahawks have excelled defensively all year and have arguably the best defensive rookie in the NFL in Nick Emmanwori. Also, the Hawks have a sneaky good offense with the best receiver in football in JSN, and one of the best game managers of recent years, with Sam Darnold. A lot of people say that the Pats will get it done, but I don’t see it. I’ve got Texans vs. Seahawks in the Bowl, and Seattle pulling through.
