Dear Lane Kiffin,
What are you doing?
You told the press you had no clue what the number was on your contract. This couldn’t be more of a lie. You have admitted in the past that Oxford didn’t need you, but you needed Oxford, so why would you leave this place you need and love. The only way in the world I can see you doing that is for money.
I don’t question your character because quite frankly I think you are a good guy and an even better coach but I do question some of your comments. You stated that you and the rest of your team wanted to continue coaching throughout the rest of the year. Now, many of your former players are saying this is not the case and that the general vibe in the locker room was against you staying and coaching the rest of the season.
If you claim you are not going to LSU for the money, then what are you going for? I respect you for going to a program that had a rough year and attempting to turn it around. If that is what your goal is and you are able to accomplish it at an LSU team which hasn’t been good since Joe Burrow then you will have all time respect.
One more thing I would like to ask you. Do you have anything to say about all the Kiffin leaks that have been coming out where college girls have posted their conversations with you? Kind of sus in my opinion. Like are you seriously texting college students?

This is even a more PG version of some of your other texts, so you are going to have to do some explaining.
While I may wish you the best of luck with the caveat of wanting to know a few things about your decisions, other people have much more bitter feelings for you.
Another AMHS senior Sam Abney, also an avid Ole Miss fan, when asked about your departure from the Ole Miss program went on with the following rant. “I believe Lane Kiffin is making a huge mistake by leaving Oxford. He was so loved by everyone there and became the most hated man in Mississippi overnight. By making this move to LSU, he is squandering his shot for a national title. I do not see any reason for him to leave as the recruiting at Ole Miss was just fine, and if he had a successful playoff campaign, he would have attracted more prospects. Leaving is a huge risk for him, take Coach O, a former coach at LSU, he won a national championship, had two bad seasons, and was fired. At Ole Miss he had job security and the chance to start his own legacy by creating his powerhouse, at LSU he is just continuing a known SEC power. I think it is very snake-like of him to move to LSU as they are a SEC rival of Ole Miss, and were known to have shared harsh words in the past about Ole Miss.”
Strong words from an angry Ole Miss fan. He also wanted me to include the image below; however, it’s a little aggressive for school so I had to do some censoring.

Lane we can wish you the best, but know that you have some making up to do.
Sincerely,
Charlie
