Senior Assassin has officially begun, this is a true way to break up friendships and switch up on your supposed “day ones”. Nobody is safe. It is key to watch your back all day everyday. Inform your parents and neighbors so that they can help defend you. It takes a village to secure the bag. There have already been betrayals from friends, plots made to get out enemies, and everyone has their eyes on the prize. And why would people not be when the prize pool is worth roughly $1,200. In this winner take all game everyone will need to be on their A game if they want a chance at glory. To be cemented with the greats, go down in Magnet history as Class of ‘26 Senior assassin champion. But for now lets go over the basics.

 

The rules for senior assassin are as follows, and buckle up, there are a lot, they deal with the basic rules and what app you need in order to play, what weapons you can use, how to properly record an elimination, where and when you are safe, what gear keep you safe, what makes a purge happen, how the bounty works, and to make sure you are not trespassing (DO NOT DO THAT THIS IS BAD AND CAN GET YOU INTO SERIOUS TROUBLE), how to be safe, and what makes you liable for a disqualification:

 

Senior Assassin – Official Rules

App & Player Requirements

• All players must download and use the Splashin app.
• Create a profile using your real name and a clear photo of yourself.
• Location services must remain ON at all times.
• Turning off your location for extended periods may result in removal from the game.

 

Gameplay & Eliminations

• All eliminations must be recorded in the app.
• Kills require admin approval to count.
• Admins have up to 24 hours to review a kill.
• If no action is taken within 24 hours, the kill is automatically approved.
• You have one week to eliminate your assigned target.
• If you fail to eliminate your target within one week:

○ Your target will be reassigned.

○ A bounty will be placed on you.

 

Weapons

• Only water guns are allowed.
• Water guns may not be modified.
• Prohibited items include (but are not limited to):

○ Water bottles

○ Water balloons

○ Cups

○ Hoses

○ Any non–water-gun objects

 

Safe Zones (No Eliminations Allowed)

Eliminations are not allowed in the following locations:

• Inside school buildings
• At sports events
• School parking lot between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM
• Religious settings
• Workplaces

Parking lots are allowed before or after work or religious services, but not during.

 

Immunity Gear

• Goggles or floaties grant immunity when worn correctly.
• Immunity gear must be fully on before being shot.
• Putting on immunity gear after being shot does not count.

 

Purges

• Purges are special time periods announced by admins.
• During a purge:

○ Anyone may eliminate anyone (no assigned targets).

○ Goggles and floaties do not provide immunity.

○ All normal safe zone rules still apply.

• Purge times and durations will be announced in advance through the app or group chat.

 

Bounties

• A bounty allows any player to eliminate you.
• Bounties may be placed if:

○ You fail to eliminate your target within one week.

○ Admins determine it is necessary for game balance or inactivity.

• Once a bounty is placed:

○ You remain fair game until eliminated or the bounty is removed by an admin.

 

Property Rules

• No forced entry into homes or buildings.
• You must be clearly invited inside.
• No trespassing or climbing fences.

 

Conduct & Safety

• No physical contact, tackling, or blocking.
• No reckless driving or vehicle chasing.
• No harassment or intimidation.
• If someone asks you to stop, you must stop immediately.
• Admin decisions are final.

 

Disqualification

Players may be removed from the game for:

• Repeatedly turning off location services
• Cheating or falsifying kills
• Unsafe behavior
• Ignoring admin warnings
• Breaking school rules or laws

 

Overview:

There are many factors that can help you last longer in the war of senior assassin. We will be discussing how often you need to wear your protection, different strategies that may work best for you, optimal supplies, and lastly we will advise you on the best music to listen to while you’re out on the hunt to put you in the right mood to get your target.

 

Times you need to wear your protective gear:

ALL THE TIME, never take it off. These goggles or floaties are the only thing standing between your life in this game and your utter demise. It is key that no matter where you are or what time it is to have your shields on. Whether it is going outside to start the car before school, walking the dog at night, or even at a nice dinner with your family, it is necessary to keep your goggles or floaties on you at all times. As we have seen on the Instagram account you need them on your eyes at all times. Poor William Sander was victim of this exact case. While out to eat he had the google on top of his head. This gave Jace Gutting the right amount of time he needed to get him out. 

 

Strategies:

When it comes to getting your target out, it can be quite difficult. Some people are extremely prepared to do whatever it takes to keep their goggles on. Some successful target hits so far have included appearing at coffee shops(Jacob L), asking people to hangout(Tyler P), and finding people on the golf course (Daniel H and Fletch T). There was an unexpected elimination on Tuesday morning when Jace Gutting waited outside of Jula Koch’s house to eliminate her on the way to her car before school. This is just an emphasis on how important it is to keep your goggles on no matter how long or short you are going to be out the house. Another great factor of staying safe, while risky makes it more fun, is riding around with a friend to go on missions. Fingers crossed they don’t have you, but this maintains the importance that your shields need to be on AT ALL TIMES. But going on missions with your friends is very fun and will make an already great memory even better because it can be shared with your pals. It will also make the video that is needed to prove the kill better quality. It will be much less shaky and the viewers of the Instagram page will enjoy a quality video much better than a solo shot POV video of the elimination. When it comes to possible ways to eliminate the target, you may want to try asking the neighbor for help, creating distractions to get them out the house, or even being direct and just knocking on the door for instant confrontation. Speaking of, it is crucial to make sure your parents or siblings are aware of the game. The worst would be if your siblings or parents invited someone inside and then when you least expect it they get you in your own home.

 

Supplies:

This could possibly be the most important aspect of this game. Ensuring your water gun is optimal for getting your target can be what makes or breaks your ability to win. Having a quality arsenal, this includes multiple water guns for different scenarios, can be the difference maker. The best way to do it in my opinion is having one big one that shoots further and makes sure to hit your target, and a second water gun that is smaller and easier to carry and run around with can be very nice. The mobility of a smaller water gun can make it easier to chase people down since you will not have to carry the water gun with two hands. The ability to choose based on the situation can be important and make your life easier while playing. You can find package deals of these water guns for great deals at walmart which is where I got mine. You cannot overlook the importance of getting goggles as well. Buying comfortable goggles makes it much easier to leave them on over long periods of time to maintain safety throughout your outings. If your goggles are tinted you can also use them as sunglasses while driving around. If your goggles are comfortable you will not be bothered by leaving them on while going out to lunch with friends. That is also where the floaties option comes in handy. These things look extremely goofy, but if you don’t care about that then they can be very comfortable. These are my preferred safety item of choice when relaxing because once they are on I don’t really feel them. The goggles are significantly more uncomfortable for when you are just trying to relax.

 

Music:

After our first day of rolling around Charleston attempting to “spin blocks” we have found some very good songs to get you into the mindset of getting your target out.

Armed and Dangerous by King Von:

This song is very serious with a tough beat to get anyone ready to assassinate their target with their water guns. 

M*rder On My Mind by YNW Melly:

This song will make you very sad if you actually listen to the lyrics: however, if you don’t focus on the words this is another beat that will get you hyped to drive around town with your friends looking for your target.

Back in Blood by Pooh Sheisty:
He discusses his own water gun saying that is the reason he does not need his goggles, furthermore, him saying people are “Wolfin on the net” is equivalent to people spamming the gc when they haven’t hit any of the targets. Our friend Daniel got out on the first day unfortunately, and he says the only way to avenge him is to get it back in blood, so whoever is targeting Collin, avenge our friend Daniel. He says he does not need his goggles because he has his water gun anyways.

Many Men by 50 Cent:

50 Cent talks about the many men coming after him, and in this game you really do not know who is coming for you in this game. It could be your closest friends, so you just have to suspect anyone and everyone is out to get you as 50 Cent thinks many men are coming after him. All players in this game must expect “many men” to come after them.

Drip or Drown by Gunna: 

This song might be the perfect way to describe this game. Either you have the drip on with your goggles and floaties to protect yourself or you are going to drown in the water gun fire. I recommend choosing drip and staying in your protective gear at all times. 

 

In Conclusion: NOBODY IS SAFE!!

You need to be careful with who you trust for the next few months. One minute you could be having a nice lunch with your friends and enjoying life, next thing you know you are soaking wet with the water that has just been propelled upon you by your “friend”. If you want to stay in for as long as possible then you will need to keep your goggles on at all times, even if it is as simple as going to your car from your house in the morning (RIP Julia Koch). Also it is important to have fun while participating in the senior assassin and you should definitely try to go on some missions with your friends. These memories will last a lifetime. Moreover the video quality will be much better and will make it easier for the admin of the senior assassin to determine if it was a fair kill or not. The quality of the water gun you purchase is something to take into consideration. Would you rather go cheap and maybe not get a good water gun or would you want to splurge on a good gun to get a quality shot. While on these missions the music you need to listen to is of great importance. Jaidon’s list of great songs has been guaranteed successful kill percentage.
