Merry Christmas Raptors! With winter break coming up, we are eager to hear what you all are asking for for Christmas. There are always some staple gifts that everyone is hoping to find under their tree, a new phone, a car, new headphones, clothes, shoes, and maybe some snow. Down below, we asked our Raptors to give us their biggest wishes for this holiday season:
Starting off strong, senior Sophia Easterbrook is hoping to find a Longchamp Tote Bag underneath her tree this year. She is hoping for navy, which is a solid choice. I am also hoping she gets this so that I can borrow it! Just do not tell her that. Along with this fashionable tote, she is hoping to get a black quilted Free People jacket to keep her warm and chic. This is another awesome gift choice and I hope she is happy with her gifts come Christmas morning.
Next up, Blake Yarborough is crossing his fingers for a new speaker for Christmas. He is a huge music fan so this is very fitting for him. Going along with the theme of music, he also asked for Mount Joy tickets for when they come to Credit One in June. I will be very jealous if he gets these tickets but we are all hoping you do, Blake. Maybe he will receive both of these gifts and be able to listen to Mount Joy on his new speaker!
Charlie Claus was hoping for a plane ticket to Crested Butte, Colorado and he has already received it! He will be flying out with his friends in February to hit the slopes, this will be very fun!! Maybe for Christmas morning he will find some snow gear under the tree to keep warm. Have fun on the slopes!
With some exciting gifts on Reed Clendaniel’s list, socks and golf balls, he is hoping to unwrap these amazing items come morning. He quotes, “I go through a lot of socks and they happen to disappear and get eaten by my dryer.” Well maybe he should ask for a new dryer for Christmas? For golf balls, he has been playing a lot of golf recently and he does not want to spend his own money on expensive golf balls, so hopefully Santa will!
Let’s keep this holiday gift hunting rolling and ask Bennett Bair what he is hoping to unwrap. He says he asked for a new pair of tennis shoes, some stationary for his grandma, and a pair of overalls? This is a wide range of gifts but he might as well soak up all the Christmas spirit. He quotes, “Overalls are so versatile and I cannot find a good pair of jeans to fit me, so I might as well find an entire denim outfit!” This is definitely an odd request but somehow fitting for Bennett. I hope that he finds the perfect blue jean outfit to go with his new tennis shoes, and how wholesome for him to hope for a gift for his grandma.
Ms Hurt is hoping for a beach house. Me too.
I hope all the Raptors who were good this year receive all the gifts they hope for! Merry Christmas!
