Ole Miss vs. Georgia
Ole Miss, one of my LEAST favorite teams in the entirety of College Football fumbled against Georgia. The former No.3 team was up 35-26 against the Bulldogs when they eventually came back for the victory 43-35. The Ole Miss QB threw for over 260 yards for 1 touchdown, whilst the UGA QB, the dude who got knocked out by Georgia Tech, threw for nearly 290 yards and had four TD’s. The Ole Miss QB had 2 rushing touchdowns but only 42 yards rushing.
Kentucky vs. Texas
If I was to describe this game in one word it would be disappointing. There was NO reason Kentucky should have stood a chance against Texas, but despite the odds, they still did. Even though they LOST, it was in Overtime as Cutter Boley “led” them as he threw for over 250 yards with 1 rushing touchdowns and 1 interception thrown. Arch did worse somehow as he only threw 132 yards with NO touchdowns. In Overtime, the Wildcats decided it was a good idea to go for it on fourth down and they got rejected and was an easy layup for the Longhorns to just go down and kick a field goal for the win, which they somehow almost missed.
Arkansas vs Texas A&M
This game was ALMOST a game for Arkansas fans to remember for life, yet as usual, they crumble at the last second and come just short. The TAM QB played lights out as he threw for 280 yards and 3 touchdowns while their running back, Rueben Owens II ran for 69 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Arkansas QB threw for 256 yards and 3 touchdowns. In the middle of the 2nd quarter, the Razorbacks were down 21-6 but then they decided it was time to lock in and brought it to 21-20 at halftime. The Aggies took control early into the 2nd half as they went up to 31-20 but as time went on, the Razorbacks caught up to 31-27 making it a four point game. A&M scored creating a larger gap making it 38- 27 and as per the trend, the Razorbacks responded and they also completed a 2 point conversion. TAM scored again making it 45 to 35 and yet again the Razorbacks scored making it a 3 point game, but the time expired.
Texas Tech vs Arizona State
I watched this game live and it was truly a great game. The backup QB for Texas Tech tried his best to win but was shut down by Sam Leavitt as he threw for 319 yards and 1 touchdown compared to the TT QB’s 167 yards and 2 touchdowns with 1 INT. This game was back and forth throughout the entire game, when the game went to the final quarter, the score was 7-19 with ASU in the lead, but despite this, Texas Tech came back and made it 22-19 with just 2 minutes to go. Arizona State University made it clear that they wanted to win as they steamrolled through their defense and with just 30 seconds left on the clock, they scored a touchdown and Texas Tech got shut down on their last ditch effort to try to score a miracle touchdown.
