The world with which we live is one that is negative. Straight up Negative. You watch the news, and you are hit with straight negativity. I am here to attempt to change that.
Whether it be a funny light hearted story or a cool coincidence that results in good vibes, I am going to report current positive events in the world. I hope to bring the same feeling you get when you roll down the windows as you drive home from the last day of school. Through this positivity you will get this feeling and learn how important it is to find positivity and sunshine in everyday life.

The first story is that of some complete strangers in Herber-Overgaard, Arizona that took it upon themselves to save mare and her foal from their death sentence in a mud pit. An urgent method came through in that of “Need help. Horse drowning in mud.” Over the course of more than an hour, seven dedicated individuals worked tirelessly to save the exhausted mare. The foal waited anxiously on the bank, calling out to her mother. The rescue team used great care, allowing the mare time to rest between efforts to avoid injury. In the end these good faith Samaritans saved both horses with no injury. This is amazing news.

Locally, there is some good news in the form of a giving box where children can go and paint at their will. This box was idealized by Mary Beth DiNunzio where she hoped that inside visitors find watercolors, brushes, seashell ornaments and even finished pieces of art. Children often return the kindness by leaving hand-painted cards and drawings. This happiness spread by herself and the children is a great sign here in our community that happiness is present and active.

This kid is a stud. For most, a birthday party is with close friends with balloons, cake, and presents. However, this Coeur d’Alene, Idaho native has a different birthday wish which is all about others. He asked his parents if he could invite everyone at the special needs center to his celebration. He does this out of the kindness of his own heart as he recognizes with his volunteer work at the SNR that these people “don’t get as much love.” This kid is something special and should be recognized by many.

Here is another example of good kindhearted people. These German tourists got their driver a ticket so that he could go on his first safari and not wait in the car. “We didn’t want him waiting outside,” said Gina simply. Although a likely a major cost for these tourists, their open hearts and willingness to bring their new life long friend shows the true nature of humans. Great job Gina and Marina!

Christmas, but in summer. This is what the community was willing to do for one girl who had found her cancer had spread to her lymph nodes. This is a terrible condition however the communities response shows that humanity is still going strong as they coordinate Kasey Zachmann’s last Christmas. On June 23, 2025, Joe and Alyssa, Kasey’s mom, learned that she may only have weeks left with her family. Cancer had spread to her lymph nodes. The news set the Zachmanns in motion to turn their daughter’s original diagnosis day, June 28, into Christmas Day. Kasey’s parents emailed a handful of neighbors asking them to put up Christmas lights, noting: “This week will be incredibly hot and not the best climate for putting up lights, but we’re not sure how much time we have.” The whole community showed out, as With just six days notice, more than 24 firetrucks drove over to Kasey’s house, and Santa Claus himself sat atop an antique fire engine. Hundreds of homes were lit up to greet Kasey, who wore a Nutcracker-themed pink dress. This beautiful story indicates that even in terrible times and against uncertainty, members of a community can come together to bring positivity.
REFER TO THE VIDEO AT BOTTOM TO SEE REFERENCE. Essentially, a man was only tipped $2 in a winter blizzard for delivering a pizza. While this is ridiculous it does show you how there are some scrooges that exist in the world. However, these scrooges are few and far in between as Craig says he couldn’t let Stephanoff go without contributing to his tip with the money he had on him — $15. On top of this, in the three weeks since Craig started the GoFundMe, it has raised over $41,000 from nearly 2,000 donations. This is insane and shows the true nature of most of the world in that many are willing to give in the wake of bad news. What a great story showing the willingness of many.
This is an amazing story that helped to restore the faith of humanity for those involved. Hopefully it can do the same for you. In 2018, Joey Romano shared this now-viral photo on Reddit with the caption: “This is my uber driver Beni, he took me to the hospital and was keeping me company since most of my family lives out of the state.” (Courtesy Joey Romano). While Joey was in excruciating pain, Lukumu took charge, signing him into the ER, and then sat with him from 2 to 8 p.m. Lukumu says the hours he missed at work didn’t even register; his new friend mattered far more. They both found each other when they needed one another and have been friends for life sense. If these two can’t restore your faith in humanity as a positive influence from an uber driver changes a life, then I don’t know what will.
These stories of good humanity and positivity are important for us to pay attention to in the ever more polarized nature of new networks. We need to see the good in the world so that we can have everyday smiles on our faces.
So, next time you are in a situation to potentially help someone and improve the positivity in the world, think of these stories and the impact they can make on not only another persons life, but also on your own.
@officercraig $2 TIP SHOULD BE A CRIME! Whoever did this: #SHAMEFUL ROCKSTAR PIZZA HAS A ROCKSTAR DRIVER. (Brownsburg, IN.) This guy is a RARE breed. During today’s all day snowstorm, crashes and slideoffs were coming in near 30 calls an hour. This school bus had a minor crash. The bus slid backwards and sideways down a hill and gets stuck, blocking this neighborhood street, and making it completely impassable. The roads were so bad, it took us 20 min. to get 3-4 miles. THIS #DELIVERYDRIVER pulled up before officers arrived. The delivery was about 1/4 mile past where the bus was blocking the street. This young man did not allow this to discourage him. He didn’t call his manager to complain, he didn’t call the customer and tell them their $40 pizza order could not be delivered. Oh no. THIS MAN IS BUILT DIFFERENT. He would not be discouraged by the obstacles he was encountering, which included a 1/2 mile hike round trip in the cold, wet snow. He parked his vehicle at the top of the hill, got out, wearing grey sweats, Nikes, and NO COAT nor GLOVES. He grabbed this RockstarPizza, and took off hiking thru the very cold, and wet snow with the pizza in tow. It was the beginning of his shift at 4:30p on a Friday afternoon, BUT he was determined this family got their pizza. This is in a more affluent neighborhood, and I’m sure he thought he would be rewarded properly for his RARE display of PRIDE and DEDICATION to his work- that is often times not seen by some of his generation. But more so, he wanted to ensure this family got their pizza to their door! So they did not have to leave the confines of their warm, comfortable, AND VERY NICE home. He got my attention as I see him walking in the middle of street after he made the delivery. I said outloud “what does this guy think he is doing?” As I initially thought he was a neighbor coming to “rubberneck” the crash. The bus driver told me he walked by once and was delivering a pizza. I didn’t believe that fully because what young pizza delivery guy in 2025 would do this??? None that I know! Not believing it completely, I hit RECORD and ask this young man. I was dumbfounded and in disbelief when he confirmed. But most of all – I was impressed- AND STILL AM! I’m proud to witness this firsthand. But my excitement and pride quickly turned to frustration when I asked him about his tip. WHO TIPS A GUY WHO RISKS EVERYTHING TO DRIVE FOOD TO YOUR DOOR LIKE THIS?? Let alone, gets out to hike it to you while every road was nearly impassable! I REALLY HOPE this algorithm is good enough that whomever DID THIS, SEES THIS! You should be ashamed of yourself whoever u are!! SHAME ON YOU. A $40 pizza delivered and a $2 tip! EVERYONE IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD CAN AFFORD IT. AND IF THEY CANT, STOP ORDERING PIZZA YOU CANT AFFORD! After processing he only received $2, and what I just witnessed, I reached for my own wallet. To PAY THE TIP FOR SOMEONE THAT PROBABLY MAKES DOUBLE MY SALARY. But I did not want this young man discouraged. Unfortunately my wallet was in my Tahoe, which was at the top of the big hill. I quickly as I could chased him down up the hill giving him the little cash I had in my wallet. (About $15) HE DESERVED MUCH MORE. Not sure who this guy is, BUT IF YOU DO, PLZ TAG HIM, SHOW HIM SOME ❤️❤️❤️ AND GIVE HIM THE RECOGNITION HE DESERVES! Well done sir.🫡#IncredibleWork #Rockstar #Brownsburg #Indiana #delivery #Driver #snow #PizzaGuy #pizza @Dave Portnoy #LifeLawAndFootball #dedicated #workethic @Pat McAfee Show Clips
