Guess the Talon Staff Based on their 2021 Spotify Wrapped

Consider this a follow-up to “Student Spotify Deep Dive”

After a long year of fateful listening, Spotify users are granted a holiday gift in the form of their music statistics each December. While my own Spotify Wrapped is typically disappointing, many are eager to share theirs, as the data snaps dominate Instagram stories each December 1st. Many take this chance to get and analyze their peers, as music taste can definitely provide a certain insight into one’s psyche. Even Spotify capitalized on this trait this year, including an “aura” alongside each users’ yearly stats in an attempt to further capture the personality of each listener.

The Talon has also taken note of the popularity of this music-sharing platform, curating a monthly playlist based on staff writer suggestions (self promo…). So, inspired by the genius of my fellow staff writer, Regan Brown, I decided to formulate a test of our readers’ music wits. How well do you really know your Talon writers?
