While procrastinating, I started to look up cute dogs. Who doesn’t? I want another puppy so bad but that is a lot of work…. So I will just look at dogs that are up for adoption and obsess over how cute they are.

For this article I have compiled a list of the most fantastic names of dogs that I found on petfinder.com. All these dogs are real, up for adoption, and are close to our school! If you are thinking of adopting a dog, look no further. There are so many pets that have been displaced from the natural disasters that seem to plague America every few weeks. If you can, help out a pet in need!

Without further ado, let’s begin.

First is Roly Poly! this is an amazing name, 10/10. Without looking at him, you just know he is cute. why else would he be called that??!! But what if he gets lost? My question is how easy it would be to call him. “Roly Poly! Roly Poly!” maybe a nickname would be just “Roly” or just “Poly”. I like this name.

Cracker Jax this is just funny to me. you know, like the cracker jacks popcorn snack things? He looks fun just like the snacks.

El Jefe: “The Boss.” Terrific. He even looks like a boss. He is too cute I would love to pet this guy. He reminds me of my old dog, Chet.

Keke this is a fun name, but the dog looks crazy. She is a puppy so she might get cuter but right now she looks absolutely insane. I just couldn’t exclude her from this list…

Johnny Cake: I just think it is so funny when people name their pets everyday nouns. Imagine if you named your actual child that? Hey, meet my kid Johnny Cake. Wild.

Spud: Spud is so cute. The name, I mean. Spud Spud Spud. It’s like calling your dog potato but cuter! I wish I had thought of this name when naming my dog. Spud also looks super cute and fun-loving. I would like to play with this dog. I love this name.

Mr. Boombastic: MR BOOMBASTIC I LOVE THIS NAME SO MUCH! This is probably the best name on this list. It just makes me laugh!! I would adopt Mr. Boombastic just based off of his name.
