The volleyball team’s season ended with a heartbreaking loss last Wednesday night. The team traveled to play the Dillon Wildcats for the third round of playoffs. The game went to 5 sets and was close until the very last point, with a final score of 15-13. Even though the season has come to an end, we can still reminisce on some of the best moments of the Raptor volleyball season.

The Raptors first big win of the season was against the powerful 4A Summerville. The game was long but very exciting, with the Raptors winning 15-8 in the fifth set.

A couple weeks later the Raptors came up against Summerville again, in a thrilling double header. The Raptors beat Summerville for the second time, and then went on to play Goose Creek. Another strong 4A team, the Raptors had their work cut out for them. However, they dominated the game and won in 2 straight sets.

In the last game before the playoffs, the Raptors played the Hanahan Hawks. The Hawks are a 3A team that beat the Raptors earlier in the season. However, the Raptors were ready for revenge and defeated the Hawks in 4 sets, showing how much the team improved over the season.

The Raptors went into the playoffs as the #2 team in their division, proving that they had a very exciting and successful season.
