A Special Thank You To Some of the Best Teachers

I had inspiration from writing my senior will and I wanted to write a message to some of the teachers that have really helped me along the way.

Dear Mr. Stackhouse,

You are at the top of this list. I just want to thank you for all of the support and life advice you have given me. You have truly made me feel like I am capable of anything in life as long as I put my mind to it. Again, thank you. Thank you for the laughs, thank you for always being a place I could come to, thank you for the guidance, and thank you for teaching me how to play golf. I hope to play a round soon.

Dear Mrs. Shifflette,

Thank you for your gracious support throughout my years at Magnet. You have shaped me into the student and person I am today. You have shown me how fun learning can be and that is something I appreciate immensely. Thank you for inspiring my love for reading. I hope to stay in touch. Please email me any book recommendations and I’ll do the same!

Dear Mrs. Yackey,

I LOVE YOU. Thank you for always telling me that in the hallway. Thank you for your patience and support throughout my struggles with math. I aspire to be half the woman you are. I admire your constant positivity and loving compassion.

Dear Mr. Flanigan,

rip. I carry your stories and life advice with me everywhere I go. Some of my most fond memories at magnet were sitting in your classroom learning from one of the most intelligent men I have ever met. I miss you and your contagious laugh.

Dear Mr. Cosgrove,

Thank you for all of your life advice and encouragement. I appreciate you always checking in on me to make sure the stress of life and school wasn’t too much. You are always there to listen to the students, we need more people like you.

Dear Mrs. Colon,

You inspire me on a daily. I am extremely grateful that I was able to have you as a teacher. Thank you for everything.

And thank you to every teacher that taught me these past four years. You guys have helped shape me into the person I am today. I appreciate all of you.
