Prince, and Kanye should be in a movie

What do you like to listen to when you’re sad?

I actually have detailed playlists for the different types of sadness because I am sad very often. You can find them on my spotify @katekuisel. One is just called ‘sad’ for the basic general sadness. Another is called ‘hurting’ for when the sadness gives you cramps in your tummy. The next is called ‘distance’ for when you are sad that you miss your dog but he is all the way downstairs. Then there is a playlist called ‘emo’ for when you are both sad and angry. Next is a playlist named ‘sad rap’ for rap that is sad. Following that one is a playlist called ‘nostalgia’ for when you are sad that you are growing up. Lastly I have a sad playlist called ‘dark’ for when you are sad and there is not a lot of light outside.

Do you dance if you’re listening to music alone?

Of course, dancing goes alongside music. My signature dance moves are the ‘floss’*, the ‘generic fortnite dance’, the ‘milly rock’, and then the one where you just step side to side. If I am really excited about the song I will do the ‘stop and reverse’ and that is when you move your hips back and forth in a circle without moving other part of your body. I am willing to demonstrate if you need.

Do you prefer to play music out loud, or with earbuds?

I do not have airpods yet, but my birthday is March 9th and I hope my mom is getting me a pair So until I get airpods I like to blast my music very loudly because music always sounds better loud. My parents do not like it, but they need to feel the groove.

Lastly, is there any artist that you think is obscure or underrated that you think people should listen to?

-HOMESHAKE

-Hippo Campus
