You know what they say: time flies when you’re awaiting prom! As the highly anticipated dance approaches and students finalize plans for the perfect night, everyone can expect a venue beyond compare. This year prom will take place at the historic Charles Towne Landing!

Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site sits on the Ashley River where settlers landed in 1670 and began the Carolina colony. The site introduces visitors to the earliest history of Charleston. Guests can explore Charleston’s only 17th-century replica sailing ship, The Adventure, see cannons fired, or hang out with otters, bears, bison and more at the Animal Forest natural habitat zoo. They can also walk through any of the beautiful 80 acres of gardens to witness the classic live oak alley and the Legare-Waring House.

Among the incredible attractions at Charles Towne Landing, Founders Hall serves as the perfect building for fun events and celebrations and, for this reason, will hold our Prom! The hall is one of Charleston’s favorite sites for weddings and other special events. It offers an elegant and modern space among the natural beauty of Charles Towne Landing.
