Track Team Kicks Off Season at Sandlapper Classic

The AMHS Track Team spent Saturday at West Ashley High School for the 10th annual Sandlapper Track and Field Classic. The “Sandlapper” is the first big meet of the Spring season and is a great way for teams to showcase their athletes for the upcoming season. Both the boys and girls teams had their time on the podium on Saturday with runners placing in the top eight for various events.

For the Raptors, the victories began with the girls distance medley relay, featuring freshman Kate Kuisel and sophomores Caroline Seymour, Caroline Keefer, and Annalise Hafner. These four speedy ladies placed 5th in this event!
