After many weeks of a close race between many adorable pets, The Talon staff has finally declared a winner for the title of Cutest Pet out of the many furry friends of AMHS students and staff. We started with 43 submissions which was narrowed down to 5 cats, 5 dogs, 1 turtle, and 1 guinea pig through our online poll. To declare a final winner, we accepted monetary donations to the Charleston Animal Society, with every 25 cents equalling one vote.

Miraculously, we had a tie! Both Remy the turtle, owned by Katherine Roop, and Foxy the dog, owned by Elsa Crowe, raised $38.32. Overall, we raised $100 for the Charleston Animal Society. Congrats to both of our winners!
