New Chick-fil-a Items

Chick-fil-A has again delivered by introducing a series of new menu items this spring. Now customers nationwide can enjoy the return of a fan-favorite sandwich and indulge in refreshing tropical beverages designed to enhance the dining experience as summer approaches.

The Return of the Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich

Making a much-anticipated comeback, the Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich is now available with customizable options to cater to diverse palates. Guests can choose from three different chicken filets: original, spicy, or grilled.

Each variant is topped with crispy bacon coated in a brown sugar and black pepper blend, Colby-Jack cheese, green leaf lettuce, and a smoky barbecue sauce, all nestled between a toasted sweet yeast bun. This combination offers a delicious blend of flavors that makes it likely to come back again sometime in the future.

Pineapple Dragon Fruit Beverages

In addition to the returning sandwich, Chick-fil-A has unveiled a new line of Pineapple Dragon Fruit beverages, adding to their drink menu. These beverages combine the sweet pineapple and dragonfruit to complement the savory sandwich. The new drinks include:​

Pineapple Dragon Fruit Lemonade: A tropical blend of pineapple and dragon fruit flavors mixed with Chick-fil-A’s signature Lemonade or Diet Lemonade.​

Pineapple Dragon Fruit Iced Tea: Combines the tropical flavors with freshly brewed iced tea for a refreshing experience.​

Pineapple Dragon Fruit Sunjoy: A delightful mix of Lemonade and Sweetened Iced Tea infused with pineapple and dragon fruit flavors.​

Pineapple Dragon Fruit Frosted Lemonade: A treat that blends Chick-fil-A’s Lemonade (or Diet Lemonade) with their signature Ice Cream dessert, enhanced with natural pineapple and dragon fruit flavors. ​

These beverages along with the BBQ sandwich are a great addition to the menu and make sure you try it once because the items go away June 7, 2025.

Icedream Spin and Ice Cream Float

Further expanding its dessert menu, Chick-fil-A is testing two new beverages that put a playful twist on its classic Ice cream

Icedream Float: A modern take on the classic soda float, combining Icedream with any of Chick-fil-A’s fountain beverages. This is also very exciting with the soda options they have. The floats will be able to be sprite, coke, or doctor pepper flavors along with a few other sodas. 

These innovative desserts are currently being tested in select markets, including Chicago, Salt Lake City, San Diego, and Tampa. Depending on customer feedback, there is potential for these items to be introduced nationwide in the future. ​This would be a great addition to their menu and I think it will be well received in the testing locations.

Overall, Chick-fil-A’s latest menu additions are a great addition to diversify their relatively simple menu. These items will be a great way to kick off the summer. I tried the passion fruit lemonade and I thought it was pretty good but definitely on the sweeter side. The bacon BBQ sounds great and I think it will be a hit!
