Freshman year at Magnet can be full of challenges and difficulties. The transition from middle to high school can be hard for everyone, even in a more sheltered environment like Magnet. As a freshman it can be hard to figure out how much time you need to be studying, where to eat lunch, and who you’re going to be friends with. This week, I interviewed freshman Henry Clark to see what his thoughts were on the first year here at AMHS. Keep reading to find out about Henry’s freshman year experience!

What are you excited for next year?
“I am excited to start driving.”
Driving is definitely one of the most exciting things that start in high school, once you can go places without having to get your parents to pick you up and drop you off everywhere, there are so many more things you can do.

Who is your favorite teacher and why?
“I don’t have a main favorite teacher. They are all good and bad at times.”
This is honestly a good perspective to have because liking all of your teachers can make your year a lot easier! So many freshman teachers are so amazing!
