This past week I sat down with sophomore, Finley Connors, Finley is in his second year of magnet and he is loving it! Finley has a ton of hobbies ranging from traveling, swimming, engineering, and updates in the technological industry. Read this article to find out some fun information about such an interesting classmate.
Here are 10 fun and unique questions that I asked Finley to gain unique insight.
What’s the most ridiculous thing on your bucket list?
Finley said that the most ridiculous thing on his bucket list is to visit every single country in the world! While this might seem like a big ambition to many, Finley has already traveled many places with his family and it seems like this is a very realistic goal for him. If you want to find out more about where Finley has already traveled be sure to read below.
If you could time travel to any year, past or future, where would you go?
Finley said that if he could time travel he would go 100 years into the future so that he could come back and predict the results of major sports games as well as put money in the right places in the stock market. This seems like a great practical use of time travel and I for one completely endorse it.
What’s the funniest or most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you at school?
Finley told us that one time in 7th grade he and his friend made a paper airplane and threw it and it accidentally hit his teacher in the face! Luckily she didn’t mind and she got a good chuckle out of it though. Thankfully Finley’s charm helped keep him out of trouble!
If you had to be in a reality TV show, which one would you choose?
Finley told me he would love to be on Survivor because he thinks it would be pretty easy for him to win as well as having a fun time. After talking to Finley I am very confident in his ability to win a game show like Survivor. He seems like a very fierce competitor. Finley also likes to spend a lot of time outdoors which would definitely help give him an edge in this competition.
What’s a completely random fact about you that most people don’t know?
Finley’s interesting fact directly relates to his bucket list, Finley has already visited 13 countries at the young age of 15, his travel list includes both Japan and Israel, these are both super cool destinations.
Finley also is a member of the magnet swim team, Finley is both a scholar and an athlete and displays many qualities of what I believe to make a great raptor!
So if you are ever looking for a classmate to talk about travel destinations, competition tv shows, swimming, or engineering paper airplanes Finley Connors is your guy, I highly recommend reaching out I had an absolute blast talking to him and getting to know him!
