Every year, Magnet students go all around the world for Spring Break. This year, spring break is from April 12th to the 19th. Keep reading to find out where Magnet students are going for spring break this year!!
First up, the AMHS Seniors are going all around the world! Sophia Benich and Lindsey Griffin told me that they are heading to the beautiful island nation of Curaçao, which is located in the Caribbean Sea off the coast of Venezuela. This is a top world destination for snorkeling and scuba diving, which Sophia and Lindsey say they are very excited to try out!
Next up, Junior Parker Hamilton says that he is having a pretty chill spring break, and he is going to visit his Grandma in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Parker says he is excited to spend time with his family, and looking forward to a break from school.
Freshman Moreen Jang let me know that she is going to Cleveland, Ohio for this 2025 Spring Break! Very exciting! Maybe Moreen can go visit some of Cleveland’s top tourist attractions such as The Rock and Roll Museum of Fame or the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.
The next destination is…. Joshua Tree! This is where Ethan McCleary is going for Spring Break this year! Joshua Tree is known as one of the most beautiful National Parks in the country! That’s a great way to spend the break if you ask me!
Maya O’Leary is heading to Turks and Cacaos with her family! That sounds amazing! Her sister, Senior Isabelle O’Leary, will not be joining them as she is headed to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic with some other AMHS seniors!
Grace Griffin will be spending her Spring Break overseas as well! She excitedly told me that she is going to Europe! Though she didn’t give more details then this, anywhere in Europe would be a great destination for a trip this April.
Lily Sturm is going to the Florida Keys for her Spring Break!! Lily plans on staying with some family friends and her activities include, snorkeling, riding manatees, and getting her tan on! I might be sneaking myself in Lily’s suitcase on April 12th…
Louisa Garrett is going to Scotland! She says she is going all around, from the city of Glasgow to the famous Isle of Skye. She is very excited about visiting the historic Castles that are all around Scotland.
Willy Wilson is going to Boulder, Colorado to visit his sister, who goes to college there, and they plan on skiing! His other sister, Senior Street Wilson, says that she is feeling a little left out of this sibling meet up, but she will be having plenty of fun spending her spring break in Punta Cana!
