Also known as Baba Kabob Market and Deli Halal, this Middle Eastern market and restaurant has everything from cooking ingredients and fresh meals to fragrances for your home. You can order food to either pick up or eat in the dining area they have. The whole store has a very casual atmosphere which is very inviting and everyone there is always the nicest. If you are looking to try some different food or are already a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine we definitely recommend this spot!

Jenna’s thoughts- “This is one of my favorite places to go in Charleston, I love to go here with my family and I have been introducing my friends to all the amazing things that Baba Kabob has to offer! My favorite thing to get from here is probably the Chicken Shawarma with their famous Garlic Sauce.”
Hanna’s thoughts- “I love Baba Kabob because of its authenticity. It really is a family run store and you definitely feel that when you walk in. My favorite thing to get there is probably the Chicken Kabob sandwich, but one really underrated item is their pistachio baklava. Their traditional baklava is also really good.”
Adi Katan- “I love Baba Kabob because there aren’t a lot of Middle Eastern stores in Charleston, other than the one in Myrtle Beach which is very far away which I only go for soccer games. My favorite is the chicken shawarma because the chicken is very seasoned and savory.”
Isla’s thoughts- “Once you are welcomed in you feel immediately at home, the staff is very friendly and the service was quick and efficient. I really loved the unique atmosphere and I think that everyone should go at least once to try it!”
A new star factor for Baba Kabob is the very viral Dubai Chocolate! Served in multiple sizes this delicious treat is a great after-school activity to grab with some of your friends! If pistachios aren’t up your alley, then there are many different unique candys and treats that are sold in the grocery section of the store. They also have a large variety of meats, Arabic spices, and so much more! Other items on the menu include a Chicken Shawarma Platter, a Halal Burger sandwich, a Falafel sandwich, and finally the Tabbouleh. There are also countless other options on the menu, so everybody can find something for them! They also have very unique drinks such as Turkish Coffee, and Ayran Yogurt drink, as well as a large variety of smoothies.
