A New Year means a whole lot of new lineups for music festival lovers across the nation. Some of the most popular festivals have already released their headliners, giving fans opportunities to book flights, plan their trips, and most importantly- buy their tickets. If you or a friend has any interest in knowing about who’s going to be there, what’s going on, and when these festivals are going to happen, this is for you.
Rolling Loud
The Rolling Loud lineup of 2025 is just about what we would have expected. Although it isn’t necessarily anything super special, there are some firsts happening at the concert this year. Peso Pluma is making history as the first non-hip-hop artist to headline any edition of this festival. As for the other headliners, A$AP Rocky and Playboi Carti will also be present. A$AP Rocky is expected to perform new songs from his upcoming album, “Don’t Be Dumb.” Playboi Carti will also most likely be debuting new songs from his album, “I AM MUSIC.” The lineup also contains many other big names like Ken Carson, Sexyy Red, Ski Mask the Slump God, and Quavo. Another interesting aspect of this year’s Rolling Loud is that there are only two days of the festival, as opposed to the usual three days of previous years. Rolling Loud will be in Hollywood Park in Los Angeles on March 15th and 16th. According to Sportskeeda.com, General Admission tickets will start at $179 and VIP Passes will start at $499.
Coachella
Coachella’s lineup this year has sparked a lot of opinions circulating around online. The infamous music festival, who in the past has had A-List headliners like Ariana Grande, Harry Styles, The Weeknd, or Beyoncé, doesn’t quite seem to have as many stars as it used to. All four main headliners, Lady Gaga, Green Day, Post Malone and Travis Scott, are extremely well known, but most aren’t at their career peak and all four are completely different artists. Let’s just say Green Day headlining one of the most famous music festivals in 2025 doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. Charli xcx, however, has had an incredible year, arguably the most influential 2024, and is only sub-headlining the festival. There are a few other rising artists such as Lola Young that people are excited to see on the lineup this year so Coachella 2025 is going to be one to look forward to. Coachella is set to take place the weekend of April 11th and April 18th, 2025 at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Right now only weekend two tickets are available and are starting at $549. There is access to the General Admission lots, as camping is the route people typically take.
Bonnaroo
Bonnaroo 2025 is bringing an impressive lineup with a wide range of artists across genres, ensuring there’s something for everyone. From pop to country, rock to hip-hop, this year’s festival is pulling out all the stops. Headliners include Olivia Rodrigo, Luke Combs, Tyler, The Creator, and Hozier, each bringing their unique flair to the stage. The lineup doesn’t stop there—fans can also catch performances by Glass Animals, Avril Lavigne, Vampire Weekend, Role Model, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Beabadoobee, Tyla, Glorilla, Mt. Joy, Raye, and more. Plus, Remi Wolf will host the iconic 2025 SuperJam, themed “Insanely Fire 1970’s Pool Party,” promising a funky, retro vibe that’s bound to be a festival highlight. This year, Bonnaroo is also stepping up its game with immersive art installations, late-night jam sessions, and pop-up experiences that will keep the energy alive long after the headliners leave the stage. Tickets start at $425 for General Admission, $695 for GA+, and $1105 for VIP, with each level offering different ways to enjoy the festival’s magic. With this lineup and extras, Bonnaroo 2025 is set to be a can’t-miss event for music lovers.
Gov Ball
Taking place on the weekend of June 6th, 2025, The Governors Ball, or more commonly known as “Gov Ball” is in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, NYC. With headliners like Tyler, The Creator, Olivia Rodrigo, and Hozier, Gov Ball is going to be a great show this year. A headliner some are not so sure about is Benson Boone, who seems to be taking the mainstage instead of other, arguably better artists, like Conan Gray. Many are excited to see a wide range of artists like ROLE MODEL, Wallows, Clairo, Mt. Joy, and Glass Animals take the stage alongside loads of other talent. A 3 day General Admission ticket starts at $319 and presale starts January 16th.
Stagecoach
Stagecoach Festival 2025, taking place from April 25 to April 27 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, features an exciting and varied lineup, with headliners Zach Bryan, Jelly Roll, and Luke Combs. While these artists bring the heart of country music to the stage, it could be argued that Lana Del Rey, with her massive crossover appeal, might have been a better fit as a headliner over one of the country acts, attracting a broader audience. Alongside these headliners, Shaboozey stands out with his incredible talent and unique sound, adding a fresh vibe to the festival. General Admission tickets start at $579, while VIP passes offer an elevated experience with more exclusive perks. With such a diverse lineup, Stagecoach 2025 promises to deliver something for everyone, blending country music with a mix of genres and artists.
Highwater
Charleston’s most popular music festival, Highwater, has quite the lineup this year. Although last year’s headliners, Hozier and Noah Kahan, are hard to beat, there are some great artists coming to North Charleston, SC this year. Mt. Joy, a fan favorite, is coming back to Charleston for what seems like the 700th time so it surprised nobody to see them on this year’s lineup. Lord Huron is a pleasant surprise alongside other artists like Arcade Fire, Flipturn, and The War and Treaty. Gigi Perez, who is making her debut this year on her first headline tour, is an up and coming artist who has already had several popular songs debut last year. Boygenius fans are obviously ecstatic to see Julien Baker who is touring alongside TORRES following their new single “Sugar in the Tank.” Taking place the weekend of April 26th, 2025 at Riverfront Park in North Charleston, Highwater will be hosting loads of your fellow Raptors. Tickets went on sale last year starting around $120 per day, but only resale tickets are now available.
Overall, 2025’s festival lineup across Rolling Loud, Bonnaroo, Coachella, The Governor’s Ball, Stagecoach, and Highwater is packed with incredible talent, showcasing a wide variety of artists from different genres. Whether it’s Peso Pluma making history at Rolling Loud, the eclectic mix at Bonnaroo, or the unique blend of country and cross-genre talent at Stagecoach, these events promise to deliver unforgettable performances. From headliners to rising stars, fans will have no shortage of amazing acts to enjoy, making these festivals a must-see for music lovers everywhere.
