Before we begin I have to say that The Talon does not condone any of this, you should always put your phone away powered off in your bag or locker before school. That being said these are the top ways to hypothetically get around the phone ban while at school. 

1.Scroll in the bathroom

This is one of the sneakiest ways to get around the ban. While you do run the risk of a teacher seeing your phone in your pocket on the way to the bathroom it is very much worth it. Once inside the bathroom it is a safe haven. You can stay in there and scroll to your hearts delight. You have to keep an eye on the time though, because if you are in there too long then the teacher may get suspicious. 

2. Scroll with backpack on desk

This method is a little risky because it involves having your phone out in the open. This means a teacher could walk up behind you at any time and catch you in the act. It is essential to keep an eye out for the teacher when you use this method. 

3. Scroll under desk

This is another method that involves a lot of risk. It is most successful however when you have people sitting in front of you so the teacher cannot see the phone under the desk. Make sure to look up every once in a while because just staring into your lap during class looks very suspicious. 

4. Skip school to scroll

Honestly if you do this then you may be too far gone. While this is the most effective way to get around the ban, you are skipping all of school just to go on your phone. I would not recommend this at all. There are much more efficient ways to go about this that do not involve skipping school. 

5. Scroll and take the referral

This is the most sigma way to get around the phone ban. You can assert your dominance in class by showing the teacher you do not care about the ban. This method is limited in the amount of times you can use it though, because if you get enough referrals you can be suspended or if you are a senior your early out can be taken away. 

6. Scroll behind computer

This is similar to propping your backpack up on your desk to hide your phone, but it looks much more natural so teachers are less likely to be suspicious of it. It is hard to hide your phone if the teacher comes around however, so I suggest also having a jacket on the desk to cover your phone with if they come around. 

7. Scroll when teacher leaves class

This is another foolproof way to get some screen time during the day. You have to be careful however because if the teacher comes in without you noticing, the gig can be up. To prevent this from happening, someone should take one for the team and keep lookout at the door for the teachers return. Another con of this method is that teachers do not leave class very often so your scrolling opportunities can be few and far between.
