Top 10 picks in the NFL draft
Cam Ward
Cam Ward seems to be trending toward the number one overall pick with him showing he can be great no matter what system he is placed in. His cool demeanor and his calmness under pressure are two other things that point to him being the best quarterback in the draft. The Titans need a franchise quarterback and do not look like they will be trading down anytime soon.
Abdul Carter
Abdul Carter is projected to be taken second by the Cleveland Browns. He has shown great get-off speed and his game against Notre Dame showed how he does not get scared under pressure in the biggest games. His ability to make tackles in the run game paired with Myles Garret makes him a no-brainer pick for the Browns.
Travis Hunter
Travis Hunter is projected to be picked 3rd by the Giants right now. The Heisman winner has shown his ability to play at the highest level on both sides of the ball, but scouts are not sure how this will translate into the NFL. Hunter may have to pick one side of the ball to focus with defense being his strength.
Will Campbell
Will Campbell is projected to be taken 4th by the New England Patriots. This is the right fit for them due to their need for a better offensive line to build around their franchise quarterback, Drake Maye.
Mason Graham
Mason Graham out of Michigan is projected to be taken 5th by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He has been a consistent factor in the Michigan defense and will fill in a gap the Jaguars need for a defensive lineman.
Shedur Sanders
Shedur Sanders is projected to be taken 6th by the Raiders. He has proven himself in Colorado and will be a great fit for the Giants. He is not a finished product by any means but with the right development, he has the chance to become a great quarterback in this league.
Kelvin James Jr.
Kelvin James Jr. is projected to be taken by the New York Jets out of Texas. He has helped them get to the College Football semis and has been an outstanding tackle that will contribute to a weak Jets offensive line.
Tetairoa McMillan
Tetairoa McMillan is projected to be taken by the Carolina Panthers out of Arizona. He is a standout receiver and will complement Bryce Young well in the next few years. He has a massive 6’5 frame and will be a great wide receiver in the league for years to come.
Mykel Williams
Mykel Williams out of Georgia is projected to be taken by the Saints. This defensive edge has been a great factor for the Bulldogs and will be a great fit in New Orleans with a chance to learn from great NFL veterans like Cameron Jordan.
Ashton Jeanty
Ashton Jeanty is projected to be taken by the Chicago Bears. This running back out of Boise State had one of the best seasons by a running back in the history of college football and finished a very close second in the Heisman race. His explosive run ability and his quick twitch will translate well in the League.
