Week 14 fantasy football top performances
With the regular season coming to the end and fantasy football playoffs coming right around the corner, these week 14 top scorers can make or break many long seasons of fantasy football managers all around the US.
- Josh Allen
On Sunday night football, Josh Allen put on a historic show against the Los Angeles Rams. Kirk Cousins threw 34 completions for over three hundred yards and three touchdown passes, along with ten rush attempts for 82 rush yards and three rushing touchdowns. This surplus of touchdowns that Josh Allen racked up in Los Angeles caused him to generate over 51 points, which is the season record for quarterbacks this year in fantasy football. With Josh Allen in your lineup for week 14, it would be very hard to lose your matchup going into the playoffs. However, when you are playing against Josh Allen for week 14, this insane performance can knock you out of playoff contention which was demonstrated for Gray Jordan, who had to play against Thomas Hershey who racked up just under 170 points for the week. Having any part of this powerhouse Bills offense is a good virtue this fantasy season, and they are sure to be able to keep it up in the fantasy playoffs this year.
2. Ja’marr Chase
In a very easy matchup against the Dallas Cowboys lacking secondary, Ja’Marr Chase broke out for the second time this season, racking up fourteen receptions for 177 yards and two touchdown receptions for the third time this year. This enabled him to drop over forty-five fantasy points for his fantasy managers including Dean McCullough who acquired him in a blockbuster trade with John Lewis Silveston just before week five of this fantasy season. This performance furthermore proves that Ja’Marr can be a number one option on many different fantasy teams and makes arguably the number one wide receiver you can have on your fantasy roster for the playoffs.
3. Puka Nacua
Shortly after Puka Nacua was acquired in a trade from Max Peters to Jack Keiffer, he exploded against a weak Bills secondary that allowed him to rack up twelve receptions for 162 yards and two touchdowns including a rushing touchdown in a narrow victory over the Buffalo Bills. This shootout caused a number of players to explode for both teams which clinched playoff byes for many fantasy managers including Jack Keiffer, who recently traded for Puka from Max Peters just before the trade deadline. This dominant performance by Puka suggests without a doubt that Max Peters got the short end of the stick on this trade with Jack Keiffer and is sure to rethink the next time he considers trading one of his star players away. In the 2025 fantasy football season.
4. Zach Charbonet
With the Seahawk’s number one option being out for the game, Zach Charbonet had the spotlight on him for the first time this season and did not disappoint by any means. This running back ran for over two hundred yards and two rushing touchdowns in a close game against the Cardinals which made his fantasy managers that had enough faith to throw him in their starting lineups for week 14 including John Lewis Silveston, who still suffered a narrow defeat in a close game against Nikos Paraschos to close out the regular season. If only John Lewis had not traded away Ja’marr Chase, then he would for sure be the overwhelming favorite to win the league this year.
