With basketball season coming to a close, we decided to interview the seniors of the Varsity girls basketball team.
Emily Aysse
Superstitions/pregame rituals – For home games she always wears her Raptor socks
Worst Injury – During the basketball playoffs last season, she tried to draw a charge and got hit hard. Emily’s knee bent in, she heard a pop, and she “dropped like a rock”. She tore her ACL Meniscus and had to get surgery.
Favorite pump-up song – Partition by Beyoncé

Superstitions/pregame rituals – “As a team, we have to make the last shot in warmups before the game starts”
Worst Injury – Someone stepped on her ankle last year and she sprained it badly
