Magnet’s parking lot boasts a wide range of cars. Everyone drives a unique car and each person takes a lot of pride in thinking they have the coolest car on the lot. Today we set out to put an end to these arguments, by finally rating some of the coolest cars in the parking lot. At the end we will have a winner for the coolest car in the Magnet Parking Lot.
First up we have this absolute beast of a truck. I really like the color of this truck and the all silver look is really cool. The rims really add to the uniqueness of this truck, setting it apart from the other traffic within the senior lot. The tinted windows really complete the build and helps hide the driver while he has his classic tutoring sessions. From what we could tell, the driver kept his car in very good condition and it was spotless when we reviewed it. This truck has been a staple of the Magnet parking lot since junior year. It seems the parking lot is not quite complete without its presence. We rate this truck a 9.4/10.
This Porsche, parked in a personalized spot, definitely brings an element of luxury to the school’s lot. The car’s been wrapped, changing its color and giving it a sleek, custom look that makes it stand out even more. Owned by a senior with an impressive collection of cool cars, this Porsche is just one piece of their automotive passion. The smooth curves and sporty stance reflect the kind of speed and performance this brand is known for. With its shiny, newly wrapped exterior and distinct style, it’s clear that this car—and its owner—brings a unique energy to the everyday parking lot scene at school. The Porsche owner also enjoys driving a jeep, and a Lexus to school. I rate this Porsche an 8.9/10 for now, but once the wrap is all worked out we are sure that ranking will go up.
Next up we have this sweet diarrhea brown Tacoma. With a recent leveling kit installed this really adds a lot to the rating. The dark tint of the windows hides whatever suspicious activity the owner gets up to in his free time. This Tacoma also has a unique Boston Whaler sticker on the rear window that we really like. Instead of the classic Boston Whaler, it puts a local spin on the brand by saying Charleston Whaler. Some inside information from the owner says he plans on adding larger tires in the future. I think this is a great plan, but the truck still looks sweet with the all terrain tires he has on now. We rate this Tacoma a 7.9/10
Despite some people’s differing opinions I really like this black RAV4. It is a very simplistic design and you cannot go wrong with a Toyota for reliability. The interior of this car features an air freshener from the classic Time to Shine car wash. The back is where this car really stands out. There is a large dent on the trunk door that the owner has been saying he will get fixed for a long time. This does knock the rating down a little. Still, the Southern Tide sticker is cool even if it is small. After talking with the owner we found out he plans on selling his car soon and buying an old Tacoma. I see the vision. We give this car a 9.5/10
In our school’s parking lot, this black Toyota SUV makes quite an impression. With its elevated stance and rugged bumper, it gives off serious off-road vibes, standing out amidst the typical student cars. Its condition looks well-maintained—shiny paint, clean windows, and great tires, suggesting that the owner takes good care of it. Positioned beside the yellow school buses, it seems ready for anything, whether it’s commuting or a weekend adventure. It’s definitely a ride that catches your eye in the sea of vehicles at Magnet! I rate this car an 8.9/10.
Mr Schaff, a new addition to Magnet, brings with him a black Mercedes sedan; this is the only Mercedes we have featured in this article. In my opinion, the car looks great in black and the classic Mercedes hood ornament seals the deal. The dark tint and black paint makes it look like the Batmobile. Mr Schaff said that he hopes to get it wrapped in a matte black look and also tint his front windshield more. I rate this car a 9.2/10.
Wow, this 2023 Acura Ategra A-spec has a sleek look, in my opinion; it somewhat resembles a batmobile. The owner claims that he takes pride in the fact that he is mostly paying off this car himself, including the 4k extra spent on speakers. This Acura has a very sleek design. I love the design of this car and the dark grey color looks great. I rate this car a 9.4/10
Personally, I am not a big fan of Teslas, but if I had to have one it would look like this. I really like the dark black paint job and how it matches with the black rims. Tesla’s definitely have that wow factor that people like when they buy a new car. The minimalist design is not my favorite, but I can see how people would love it. The flush door handles are really cool and add to the futuristic look of the car. The interior of Tesla’s are really cool though, with a large touch screen taking up most of the display. There is no dashboard, which I do not love. Overall we give this Tesla a 7/10.
As we were walking around the parking lot this Bronco Sport jumped out to us because of its cool baby blue color. This may be the best color in the parking lot. The light baby blue pairs perfectly with the white roof and rims. The red accents in the Bronco logo on the front really help these colors pop. I also like the retro wheels. They really do a good job of calling back to the original Broncos.. Bringing back the Bronco was one of the best decisions Ford has made in the past 20 years. There has been a need in the Ford lineup for a rugged SUV for a while ever since the discontinuation of the Excursion.
Next up is this cool old Tundra. I really like these trucks, they last for many miles and have a timeless look. This Tundra seems to be sitting on a leveling kit with BF Goodrich tires. These are some of the best looking tires on the market and really do a good job of bringing this build together. Much like the Chevy we reviewed earlier, the chrome accents on the grill are very cool. The mudflaps are a staple for any Toyota and makes me want to put them back on my truck. I think adding some clears to this build would really make it even better. I give this truck an amazing 9.2/10.
This sleek, gray Ford Bronco belongs to a junior and definitely turns heads in the school’s parking lot. With its bold design and rugged stance, it’s one of the cooler rides around. The matte exterior finish gives it a modern edge, while the oversized all-terrain tires suggest it’s not just for show—it’s built for adventure. The blacked-out trim and iconic Bronco logo add to its tough, stylish look. It’s got cool exterior features like the detachable roof, making it perfect for weekend trips or just cruising with the top down. This junior’s ride is a standout, mixing both capability and serious style.
Geez, these two trucks might be the best-looking cars in all of the parking lot. While this Tacoma has a beautiful level and the Ram 1500 has interior mods, both drivers say that they have plans to upgrade both their tires and tint, the Tacoma’s silver paint job makes the truck appear more rugged. The Ram’s black trim does the same. The Ram’s back window has a collection of great stickers ranging anywhere from Yeti to Bigfoot. These trucks both sit in the front row right near the school entrance so next time you’re bored in class be sure to look out and admire these two beautiful rides. We rate these cars 10/10s.
While this car was not in the parking lot when we took pictures, this Tacoma is a notable mention for coolest cars in the parking lot. The owner has a lifted Tacoma similar to others featured in this article; however, he has added bigger off-roading tires. You know this truck when you see the slanted tool box laying in the bed. We rate this truck a 8.67/10.
There are a lot of Tacomas parked in the parking lot but wow, this black Tacoma parked in the junior lot is a beaut. While the driver is unknown, the post-market level and the mud grip tires are sure to turn eyes. We also loved the matt black trim and wheel wells. In addition to the trim the running boards look great. I give this car a solid 8.7/10.
Last but certainly not least we have this sick bike. At first, we did not want to include bikes in this article and only focused on cars. But as we were walking in from our photo gathering, this bike caught both of our eyes. The unique red color of this bike really makes it pop. From what we can tell this is a generational bike find. This brand is known for its quality and craftsmanship, the tires have some of the best traction ever seen. We loved the bike so much that we decided to write a poem about it. But before we get there we wanted to rate this bike a 9.8/10, only losing points for not being a car.
“Bright red bike waits still,
by the bench in morning light—
fresh wheels poised for flight.”
This Audi is an eye-catcher, its full black look gives it a style that is unmatched. It is highly tinted which gives more to its all-black look. In the bustling parking lot, this vehicle stands out with its powerful presence. The all-black combined with the luxury of driving an Audi makes this one of the most appealing cars in the parking lot. This car has a plush interior accompanied with cutting-edge technology. I personally am not a fan of mid-sized SUVs but if I had to drive one this would be it. I rate this car an3 8.7/10.
We were not originally planning on including this car in this article, however, while admiring our parking lot both of of were called to this modded Dodge charger. The blacked-out color combined with the light bar and the custom decals make for a tough look. This car comes fully equipped with ballistic doors, updated breaks, and a suped-up 5.7L V-8 engine. In my opinion this is one of my all-time favorite cars in the parking lot, Both of us have dreamed about going on a joy ride in this car. Also in October, a pink model of this car comes to Magnet. We rate this car a 9.87/10.
Winner:
After much consideration and deliberation by the parking lot committee, we have decided to ward the Coolest Car Award to Garrison Gray and his Toyota RAV4. While we thought everyone’s cars were super cool, his car stood out because of the aura it was giving off. We hope you enjoyed this ranking of cars. Disagree with some of our rankings?
