Fantasy Football Week Three top Performances
- Juan Jennings
With the San Francisco 49ers other two starting wide receivers out due to injury, this gave other wide receivers on the roster a chance to shine coming into this week such as Juan Jennings. Jennings recorded 11 receptions on 12 targets for 175 reception years and three reception touchdowns. However, many fantasy managers such as Jose Revuelta did not put him in the starting lineup which was a huge missed opportunity for them to win their week and he could be considered a viable flex option going forward after dropping a 46.5 point performance in week three.
2. Saquan Barkley
Next up, we have the number one fantasy player currently overall and widely considered to be the best running back in football right now who was drafted in the early second round. In his most recent performance versus the New Orleans Saints, he racked up 147 rush yards on only 17 rushing attempts and two touchdowns along with four receptions to go along with that. He has been one of the best fantasy football running backs over the course of the year and undoubtedly could be traded for any single player in fantasy football as of right now with his 33.6 point week three performance.
3. Kyren Williams
Third, we have our second running back on this list who broke out last year in this current Los Angeles Rams offense. With the Rams’ two star wide receivers out, they have to rely on other players such as Kyren Willaims to win them the game. As a result of this, they ran the ball to Kyren 24 times for 89 rushing yards and two touchdowns, along with two receptions for 27 reception yards and a reception touchdown. This insane workload enabled Kyren to drop a 31.6 pt performance for happy fantasy managers such as Dean Mccullough to take a victory in their week three matchup.
4. Josh Allen
Fourth, we have Josh Allen, quarterback for the Buffalo Bills. Quarterbacks aren’t always known for dropping insane fantasy performances especially after losing their star wideout, Steffon Diggs to the Houston Texans, but Josh Allen put on a show week three against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Over the course of this game, Josh Allen put up 236 passing yards along with four passing touchdowns and six rush attempts for 44 rushing yards. This performance by Josh racked up 30.9 fantasy points for fantasy managers such as Thomas Hershey, which allowed him to win against Max Peters by over 30 points.
5. Jamarr Chase
Finally, we have Jamarr Chase who played arguably the worst secondary in the league, the Washington Commanders. Although Chase had been dropping very underwhelming performances before this game, he racked up six catches for 118 reception yards along with two reception touchdowns on seven targets against this rather fortunate matchup allowing him to breakout for JL Silveston shortly after trading for him with Everett Landrith. This 29.8 point performance allowed John Lewis to beat Everett Landrith in a close game by just nine points. Although it could be assumed that JL would keep Jamarr after this stellar performance, he elected to trade his whole team away to Garrison Gray and Dean Mccullough, causing major losses at the wide receiver position.
