Top TV Shows of the Fall
If you’re looking for some new TV shows to watch this fall, check out these six shows.
**Don’t worry, no spoilers!**
1. Scandal
Season 5 of Shonda Rhimes’ hit show Scandal recently aired on ABC. This political thriller series stars Kerry Washington as the fierce and powerful Olivia Pope. The show centers around Olivia’s crisis management firm, as well as her relationship with the President of the United States. Every episode has you on the edge of your seat, so if you’re looking for an exhilarating new show check out Scandal. Don’t worry, seasons 1-4 are on Netflix.
2.Grey’s Anatomy
Grey’s Anatomy recently started its 12th season with a classic season premiere. Another drama series by the almighty Shonda Rhimes features a group of surgical residents and interns that work at Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital (formerly known as Seattle Grace Hospital). If you aren’t already watching the show, which I definitely think you should be, you can watch the first 11 seasons on Netflix. It may take some time, but trust me, it’s worth it.
3.Quantico
One of ABC’s newest series tells the story of Alex Parrish, who is a recruit at the FBI Academy in Quantico. The show incorporates flashbacks of her experiences in training before she was accused of a terrorist attack. She also has a developing romantic connection with fellow recruit Ryan Booth, who is actually an undercover FBI agent. Each episode leaves you anxious for the next, so I highly suggest you watch Quantico every Sunday night.
5. How to Get Away With Murder
This exciting murder drama stars Viola Davis as a Annalise Keating, a law professor and criminal defense attorney. She chooses 5 students from her law class to work at her firm, where they take on a different defense case every episode. Currently 6 episodes into the second season, the rest of the season is going to be anything but boring.
6.Nashville
Whether you like country music or not, Nashville is definitely worth the watch. Centered around the lives of famous country music singers, the show features relationships, scandals, and some intense family drama. Airing Wednesday nights on ABC, this show is equal parts fun and exciting.
