Wednesday, October 14^th, 2015 was a big day for AMHS. While the freshmen, sophomores, and juniors dominated the PSAT, the seniors dominated powder puff.

The first powder puff game was between the sophomores and the juniors, with the juniors barely squeaking by with a win. Next, the seniors obliterated the freshmen, securing a spot for themselves in the final against the juniors.

Shorts were torn, dirt thrown, and players collided during the game everyone had been anticipating. The seniors were obviously the stronger team as they battled through a series of penalties. Referees Coach Williams and Ms. Merriman tried their best to hold them back to make the game fair for everyone, but the seniors just couldn’t be stopped.

It’s rumored that underclassmen are trying to spread the idea that the game was a “tie” or that “the seniors didn’t win.” Don’t be fooled! All grades will have their chance to win powder puff eventually, but this year the win will be given to the seniors.
