In this day and age, apps come and go like the wind. One day, it’s Flappy Bird, the next, it’s 2048. I predict that the next fad will be Little Alchemy. In Little Alchemy, you start with four main elements: earth, air, fire, and water.  You can then combine these basic elements to create more advanced elements: from a desert or seaweed to a narwhal or even a double rainbow. There’s a total of 550 elements to create, and so far, I have 227. It’s easy to get started playing. Noob Maddy Carens says she is proud that she was she was able to create obsidian, her favorite element, so quickly.  Jensen Haldrup proclaims, “Little Alchemy changed my life!” However, Veteran Little Alchemy player Mary Geer Kirkland warns, “I used to play Little Alchemy when I was a wee lass. I played all day and all night, and eventually I became addicted. Although it was tough, I persevered and overcame my addiction.
