King Maha Vajiralongkorn- King of Thailand
When he is not ruling over the country of Thailand, the King likes to take it easy. He enjoys the finer things in life, such as low-waisted pants and a classic white crop top. These staples provide a great Western connection to those who also enjoy such necessities.
King Vajiralongkorn also likes to dress up the outfit with some fake tattoos on his front, back, and sides. The temporary tattoos let the people know that this is simply a phase, he is just finding himself in such a big world. Now the addition of strappy sandals is where the king goes wrong with this outfit. By not using the sandwich method, where you match the top of your outfit to the bottom, he simply looks a bit childish as he is breaking such notorious fashion rules.
He also has a unique accessory, his dog. The mini poodle that goes by Fufu or Foo Foo makes multiple appearances in his outfits. This adorable white dog implies he is simply trying to live out that LA lifestyle. Although he is not holding the dog in a designer bag, he still manages to capture the essence of California girls. The overall outfit deserves a 7.5/10, because it is a classic, but the sandals and lack of designer bag drop this ootd (outfit of the day) to about a 6.7 overall.
Donald Trump- 45th president of the United States
The former president of the United States is quite well-known nationally. He prides himself in his countless businesses, which include quite a few golf courses. Now off the course, he dabbles in a bit of tennis, as seen above. Now tennis outfits can be as bold as one wants. For this fit I assume that Trump had a coveted White party after, so obviously he had to don ALL white.
From top to bottom, he truly follows the sandwich rule. I would recommend more opaque clothing in the future so we do not have to see quite literally everything. Now the hat does add a bit of color that contrasts the simplicity of his OOTD. I am not sure that tennis pro Serena Williams would wear the same outfit, as she seems to enjoy more color on the court. While he might not be invited to play at Wimbledon with this fit, if he decided to come to a Magnet White-out Football game he would be welcomed with open arms. The coordination of the outfit and pop of color puts him at a 6/10 because it is a bit too simple for my liking.
Rishni Sunak- Prime Minister of the United Kingdom
The new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom is quite trendy with his outfit choices. He of course tends to lean towards suits and ties when in a work-related situation, but off the clock he likes to kick loose in what looks like a casual fit. Now this jacket of his seems very cute, I think I have a very similar one in my closet, but then you look at the price tag. This pretty piece of furry-looking fabric set the prime minister back by about one thousand dollars. Although Trump might laugh at the price, I am a bit shocked.
This outfit on ice does bring the jacket back to earth with the casual blue jeans that seem to match his daughter’s look. I think that blue jeans are a bit of a hit when politicians are found in the wild. He also completes the outfit with a cute white t-shirt, which provides another addition to the simplicity of this skater fit. The outfit honestly deserves an 8/10 for the quiet luxury he assumes.
Joe Biden- Current president of the United States
Joe Biden posed for the magazine In Style and this outfit is part of his off-duty look. When he is not wearing a suit or button-down he decides to go the preppy route, and although not featured in this image, he truly does enjoy a good polo when he’s feeling frisky. Now this outfit took me by surprise. I’m not sure when he auditioned for Top Gun, but if there is any outfit more deserving of the part, I would be shocked to see it.
Supposedly there is a pair of Aviators that he dawns with the leather jacket and snazzy leather chair. One colleague of mine stated that he seems to be ready to hit the motorbike and maybe sing a tune that might be found in Grease the movie. He is quite on trend with the looser black jeans, but bringing back that classic old money style with his Sperrys that are frequent in the style of those old, emphasis on old, money politicians. Overall I rate the outfit a solid 6.7/10, mostly due to the fact that he is matching with his chair.
Fidel Castro- Former President of Cuba
On the right, the OG Castro sits in one of his many Adidas tracksuits. Towards the end of his reign, he began to exclusively wear these tracksuits. I wonder how extensive his collection was. Probably enough to make Sue Sylvester jealous. Honestly, I’m not sure which person is more ruthless, the dictator or the brutal gym coach.
But regardless of his political endeavors, the late president manages to capture national attention with his many sportycaszh – an abbreviation of sporty casual – looks. In this particular photo, he truly flaunts his power with this starry number. The primary colors are a beautiful way to instill some attention, and of course, a bit of gold never hurt anyone. Overall there is a bit too much royal blue and it does bring him back a point or two, but I honestly like the outfit due to its classicness. I am going to rate the fit an 8.7/10.
