Get Ready for Some Caroling

Thursday, December 16th, 2B… Be there or be square

One of my favorite memories from my freshman year starts with me sitting outside Ms. Liang’s old classroom studying for one of Ms. Shifflette’s infamous quizzes. While in the middle of group panicking about our upcoming assessment, we started to hear music coming from somewhere in the school. We stood up and walked to the end of the hall, where we found an ensemble of students dressed in holiday attire approaching with guitars in hand singing Christmas songs. None of us knew what was going on, but it was fun. We sang along as they kept walking by and enjoyed our break from studying. After the fact, I learned that the performers were guitar 2 students accompanied by Mr. Grimshaw. As a senior, I’m taking guitar 2 for an elective and guess what? Now it’s our turn to carol! Make sure to be ready 2B on Thursday, December 16th, for some music filled hallways. After all, “the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.”
