This past Friday was the freshmen lock-in.  The freshman had a great time dancing, doing art, getting their faces painted, and jousting. There were lots of games, such as “Let’s Make A Deal” and “Minute To Win It”.  Some people chose to dress up in costumes to win prizes.  Helena Upshaw dressed up as Mr. McCormick’s lab notebook and won a quiz card for her attire.

Lauren Clifford, Evlyen B, and Helena Upshaw told us their favorite activities were sumo-wrestling and the talent show.  The president won the talent show for his amazing dance moves.  Most people did not sleep at all.  Only five weaklings got sleep.  The freshmen we interviewed said that if they could change anything, they would want to watch more movies and have more freedom.

All of the main freshmen teachers were there including Mr McCormick, Ms English, Mr Flanigan, Mr Percy, and Ms McIntyre.  Teachers even got in the dunking booth and were dunked by students!  Pizza, chips, soda, candy, and doughnuts were provided.
