Red Dead Redemption 2 is a western-themed adventure game that was recently released in late October. It take place within a fictional version of the US midwest, with town names that sound familiar, but different. This is the third game in the Red Dead Franchise and is made by Rockstar Games, who made the popular Grand Theft Auto series. The most recent GTA game came with an online multiplayer mode called GTA Online. Similar to this, Rockstar is now releasing Red Dead Online in a beta for players to play-test and for the developers to work out bugs. In Red Dead Online, you can join your friends in the world of Red Dead, forming a Posse to work together and complete missions such as robbing trains or helping local farmers. In Red Dead Online, there is something similar to an honor system, where players who choose to break the law more often will be given more missions that are illegal and those who choose to be law-abiding will have more missions helping people. Red Dead Redemption 2 is available to users on the PS4 and the Xbox One and as of this Friday, the online beta is open to anyone who owns the game.
