Second Ever Homecoming Win in Magnet History
October 8, 2014
This year has been one of the football team’s best seasons in AMHS football history. They have a great record of 5-1 and are currently number 7 out of the 2A teams in South Carolina. The team also had their first shutout in AMHS history against Baptist Hill. On Friday they had their second ever homecoming win, defeating North Charleston 27-20. Touchdowns were scored by Adam Ackerman, Nate Schlosser, and Andrew Alberg, while Mason Proctor had an interception, and Nate Schlosser ran for 227 yards. He currently has the most rushing yards in the low country (1,289 yards). Thomas Lehman added 14 tackles for the team. The next game is at Garrett, who is currently ranked tenth in the state for 2A football. There are only two more home games left in the season (October 24 and 31), so make sure you come to them and support the team.
