On April 21-22, 2018 at Riverfront Park in North Charleston, 21 artists and bands performed at High Water Festival!

The lineup consisted of:

Jason Isbell And The 400 Unit, Band of Horses, Shovels & Rope, Brandi Carlile, Jeff Tweedy, St. Paul And The Broken Bones, Shakey Graves, M. Ward, Susto, Hamilton Leithauser, Valerie June, Tank and the Bangas, Old 97’s, Nicole Atkins, Shrimp Records Family Band, Ian Felice, The Wild Reeds, Joshua Hedley, T. Hardy Morris, Weaves, and The High Divers

It was “a celebration of music, food, and libations curated by “Shovels and Rope” according to the High Water website. Regarding food, Pass The Peas, The Refuge, Low Tide Social, The Porch, Oyster Education Classes were close by. Pass The Peas presented southern cuisine with wine selections from Reeve Wines. Some of the proceeds benefited the The Green Heart Project. The Refuge sold tasty treats while Low Tide Social provided the music. The Porch had a shaded lounge area for needed shade. Oyster Education Classes gave you the 411 on oysters.

**General Admission Weekend Passes were sold at  various price levels. When 1 level ran out, the price moved to the next price. It was important to note that there was no difference in each level it was just motivation to purchase your prices sooner.

With these tickets, you had access to all stages and restaurants.

Of course there were Nonprofit Organizations that are partners with the festivals. The Charleston Waterkeeper helps protect Charleston’s waterways. They try to restore the harbor, rivers, and tidal creeks. Their main goal is to protect the public’s right for animals and humans that swim in the ocean. Water Mission are also involved with clean water. They design and build  and implement sanitation and safe water solutions around the world. The Green Heart Project works to build gardens as learning projects. They try to integrate people and learning with the cultivation of growing and eating food.
