How to Get Ready & What to do
GRADUATION IS SOON COMING, YOU SHOULD ALL BE PREPARED FOR IT.
THE MORNING OF GRADUATION, YOU SHOULD:
- Wake up. Try to get up as soon as your alarm sounds
- Use the bathroom first.
- Shower and shave
- Get dressed
- Do your grooming routine
- Do your hair and, if you wear it, apply makeup after getting dressed
- Eat breakfast
- Get out the door!
IF YOU HAVE TO TALK IN FRONT OF EVERYONE:
- Expect to be nervous. Even experienced speakers get nervous
- Prepare. Know what you are going to say – and why you want to say it
- Practice
- Breathe
- Rehearse
- Focus on your audience
- Simplify
- Visualize success
- Connect with your audience
- Act confident

HERE’S HOW TO WEAR YOUR CAP AND GOWN:
- The graduation cap is worn flat on the head, parallel to the floor. The front point of the cap should be centered on the forehead
- The graduation gown should fall midway between the knee and ankle
- Men should remove their graduation caps during the school song and the National Anthem
- Tassels are usually worn on the right side and shifted to the left when graduates receive their diplomas
- Men generally wear dark trousers and dress shirts and ties under their graduation gowns
- Women generally wear lightweight dresses or blouses and skirts that do not hang below their graduation gowns. They can also wear a detachable white collar that adds a more finished, decorative touch
- Flowers and jewelry should not be worn on the academic gown
- Caps and gowns can be accessorized with specific regalia like stoles and honor cords in keeping with the traditions of the school

- Invitations, decorations, centerpieces, balloons, flowers, food, beverages, tableware, photography and video, caterer, catering hall, entertainment, tent rental, equipment rental, party favors, thank you notes, and postage
- Order and send invitations
- Plan your menu
- Catering, making your own food
- Choose decorations
- Balloons, streamers, and flowers
- Let guests add their own personal touch to the party
- Poster board where the guests can sign it and leave a message for the bed

IF YOU CRY DURING GRADUATION:
