After the big snow storm and our extra long winter break, spirit week seems to be quickly approaching. The dates of spirit week are January 29-February 2. This coming home spirit week is a little different because the days are different than all the past years. Instead the spirit week days are as follows:

Monday, January 29: Decade Day. Each grade will choose a decade to dress up as. These costumes depend on what each grade chooses; however, the 20’s, 50’s, 60’s, and 80’s are all great ideas with iconic outfits from each.

Tuesday, January 30: Mathletes vs. Athletes. Dress up in your favorite sports wear or as a stereotypical nerd. For sports wear, dress up in your favorite players jersey or simply wear athletic clothes. To be a nerd, throw in some big glasses and wear suspenders.

Wednesday, January 31: Tunes and Toons: Dress up as either your favorite music artist or cartoon character. Be a rapper, Taylor Swift, or just your favorite artist! If you want to go the Toons route, wear the apparel of your favorite character.

Thursday, February 1: Harry Potter Day!

Friday, February 2: Everyone’s favorite- WALL DAY! Come together as a class and work really hard to create the best wall with the best outfits!

Almost all of the themes are different than past years which makes this Spirit Week different than any other. The basketball game on Friday, February 2nd is against Burke and I hope everyone is there!
