FCA may be a club for you.
FCA began Wednesday with “See You at the Pole” before school. Students from both AMHS and SOA gathered in the gym lobby due to the rain, and circled up in small groups to pray for each other. Later, everyone stood in a large circle and sang songs. After the event ended, students were invited to enjoy the many breakfast foods such as doughnuts, cinnamon rolls, and muffins. “See You at the Pole” is a great way to meet other people in FCA and share their love of God.
Weekly meetings take place on Wednesdays during lunch in Mrs. Merriman’s room. They are really fun and a great chance to hang with friends and meet new people. In the meetings they play games, sing songs, and end with prayer. It is a nice way to feel a connection with God throughout the busy school week. They also do projects throughout the year, such as Operation Christmas Child. It is a very fun activity where students prepare boxes of toys and a card for children in need. It’s a wonderful way to get into the Christmas spirit. Anyone can come to the meetings and you can join at anytime. We hope to see you on Wednesdays for FCA!
