Freshman Carnival
Each year at Magnet the freshman focus teachers organize the Freshman Carnival, where all freshmen are able to stay after school to enjoy carnival games, food, classmate bonding, face painting, talent shows, and so much more. Attending the Freshman Carnival is a right of passage for all Magnet students; it really is an unforgettable night to share with your classmates! The carnival allows the freshman class to get to know their peers a little bit better outside of the classroom, and it is an opportunity to take a break from excessive studying and just have a little fun. Mr. McCormick is the king organizer of this event, organizing all the activities and making sure everything goes smoothly. This year’s carnival had an obstacle course, kickball, ultimate Frisbee, Let’s Make a Deal Game led by Mrs. Grayson, a talent show led by Mrs. Roop, many carnival games, sumo suit wrestling, an inflatable wrecking ball, and much more. This year’s Freshman Carnival seemed to be a great success, and the class of 2021 had a lot of fun!
