Paris

Paris! The capital of France, also known as the city of love, is one of the most romantic places in the world.  You can find places to stay from really cheap to the most expensive and wonderful hotels, but remember, always leave money for food! The city is also known for her excellent food and restaurants. However if you are looking for a city you could see in one day this is not your place  because Paris is full of energy  and her museums, parks, monuments and parties would keep you busy for weeks.

Here there are some of the places you need to see before leaving:

• Versailles: The city of Versailles is so close to Paris and the palace would be worth it. It’s garden is full of amazing fountains and statues and a huge variety of flowers and the palace is one of the most beautiful things in the world. Once you are inside the park you can rent bikes or golf carts to move faster.

• The Eiffel Tower: The most known monument of France and really often used as a representation of the city. The best moment to visit it is at  sunset when they light it up, and it has the best views you can imagine. In the interior you can find shops and even food (the chocolate crepes are to die for!)

• The Louvre: If you like art this is a must for you. The museum contains more that 35.000 statues and works of art and it’s almost imposible to go through it on one day. The tickets have a pretty good price, but if you are under 18 you enter for free.

• Other important places are: Notre Dame Cathedral, The Arc de Triomphe, the Palais Garnier and the Sacré-Coeure Basilica.
